The National Highways and Motorway Police are increasing traffic fines by up to 900%.

    The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) is announcing a substantial up to 900% increase in traffic violation fines, effective from October 1, 2023.

    NHMP is actively spreading this information through various communication channels, including social media, as part of its public awareness efforts.

    Additionally, the Lahore-Islamabad (M2) motorway recently witnessed a 10% toll tax increase, in accordance with a 20-year agreement between the National Highway Authority (NHA) and MS/More, an affiliate of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO), established in 2014.
