Khawar Maneka, the former husband of Pakistan's ex-first lady Bushra Bibi, was detained at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport.

Federal investigators took Mr. Maneka into custody and transferred him to the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), as media reports indicate. He was apprehended by FIA officials during a routine check while purportedly planning a trip to Dubai. Mr. Maneka is the former spouse of Imran Khan's current wife.

ACE officials initiated a case against Khawar Maneka, detaining him at the Lahore airport because his name was on the Exit Control List (ECL). Hailing from Pakpattan, Maneka is recognized as a spiritual follower of the 13th-century mystic Baba Farid Ganj Shakkar and previously held a senior position in the Customs Department.
