    The district of the administration, a local police, and the RDA successfully demolished the 16 illegal housing projects across different areas in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan including The Mouzas Adhwal / Cighu / Chak Cighu / Bhal / Titral / Hoon / Gojra Chak / Ralla / Ralla Gujra / Banda / Wariyam Malokra / Gurha Bertha / Kuri Khuda Bakhsh and The Mouza of Bagga Sheikhan. The operation included the removal of main entrances, the guard rooms, the boundary walls, the dividers on the road, and the road infrastructure connected to these unauthorized schemes.

    The RDA spokesperson confirmed the demolition of several illegal housing schemes in Rawalpindi, including Hoon Farm, Theme Park, Cighu Farm House, Green Hawks / Flaura Farms, Freedom Smart Home, Islamabad Forms Phase-I / II, Shahzain Town, Atlantic City, Attar Farms, Project of BSM Developers, Green View, Lake View City / Lake Garden Green Farm House, Green Stone, and Gulberg Garden in Rawat Rawalpindi. Rawalpindi Development Authority Director General Saif Anwar Jappa stressed that these actions were prompted by public complaints and aimed to combat fraudulent activities associated with unauthorized housing schemes. He also mentioned that those with proper documentation were granted land possession rights.

    Citizens were cautioned against investing in illegal housing schemes, with advice to exclusively engage in property transactions within approved housing schemes. Prior to these actions, notices were issued to owners and sponsors of illegal housing schemes, and FIRs were filed to cease unauthorized advertisements, bookings, and development. It was also mentioned that some owners were running illegal booking offices, highlighting the importance of vigilance for prospective property buyers.
